This doomsday house is only for a small group of survivors.
Architects were asked to design a spatial concept that would ensure the survival of 20 families and thousands of books for three years after the 2012 Apocalypse.
The design was commissioned and promoted by a Belgian foundation.
This ‘ark’ would be located on  a mountain slope in Sierra Nevada, Spain, and built to withstand tsunamis, earthquake and other global disasters.
Although just a concept, the participating architects said the project can also function as an Apocalyptic Resort.
Perhaps the tourism industry won’t suffer a complete loss beyond 2012.

We featured lavish underground shelters from Vivos back in January, but with prices starting at $25,000, the shelters were clearly for an elite consumer.
Not anymore! Recently, Vivos announced a discounted line of ‘economy shelters’ for the rest of us.
Starting at less than $10,000, the non-plush model is built to protect survivors for six months - and they only require a down payment of $2,500.
